The Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf’s avowed goal to reach the Waziristan area in Pakistan to protest against US drone attacks was never fulfilled, even as the political party announced it had achieved its goal. What were the goals that the PTI set out to achieve and what role did US peace activists play in it?
